Online Bill Payment Has Been Upgraded

This upgraded Bill Pay solution offers a streamlined approach to navigating and managing the Bill Pay process. It is a fully responsive, mobile-first solution that provides a simple, intuitive, and engaging Bill Pay experience for your digital banking on all your devices.

Key highlights of the Bill Payment upgrade include:

  • Users will find their eBills and reminders in a prominent Unpaid Bills section. Other billers will be arranged by user activity in the My Billers section
  • Search will be added to the Bill Pay home page to help users locate a specific biller and navigate through Bill Pay more quickly and conveniently
  • Bill Pay users’ ability to manage payments and all payment activity, including scheduled and processed payments, will remain unchanged  
  • Recurring payment settings and AutoPay plans will remain unchanged
  • Users will also have continued access to, and will be able to organize in groups, any billers they have added previously.
  • Aesthetic and functionality enhancements will be added to the User Interface for improved accessibility and conformance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)  
  • "View and Manage Profile" and "View and Manage Accounts" options will not be available in the new Bill Payment User Interface

 

When clicking on Bill Payment in the heading, you will see the screen below.  Click Continue.

 

Below is the Bill Payment > Pay Bills Home Screen.

 

  • The bill payment service is free if you have a Gold Preferred or Relationship Checking Account. However, if you do not schedule a payment within a 3 month period, an inactivity fee of $4.25 per month will apply.
  • If you have a Regular or Free Checking Account, the bill payment service is free of charge for the first 3 months. After that, you pay a low monthly fee of $4.25 for the service. This is about equal to the savings in postage and envelopes for the average customer.
  • With an online Bill Payment service, you can receive, view, and pay your online bills from our personalized secure Website.
  • Save time and money. No checks, no stamps, no hassle. You can select bills from hundreds of local and national companies.
  • You schedule the date to make payments and gain greater control over the bill management process.
  • You can view, pay, and track your bills from the Bill Payment, Payment Center. All of your monthly bill information - right at your fingertips!
  • Make person-to-person payments with Zelle.

Contact a Customer Service Representative at one of our office locations or sign up online. Our online sign-up process is simple and efficient - yet detailed enough to ensure security and privacy - as we gather the information necessary to deliver your online bills and process your payments. Just click the "Online Banking" dropdown on the navigation at the top of the page. You will have to be a customer of First National Bank and also have our Internet banking product to sign up for our Bill Payment service.
